Implementing systematic safety checks of existing roads to
improve the planning and design of safer road networks. This
includes preventative tools such as:
- Road safety impact assessments for project review – Identifying road/traffic safety concerns accident investigation
- Road safety inspection for site review of hazardous conditions, failures and deficiencies
- Road accident investigation linked to real road traffic conditions in order to draft a preference list of improvement interventions or black spot treatment
